The Final Steps Before Commissioning
Safety and Function Tests at Our Pioneer Plant in Frankfurt
With pride, we look at the latest accomplishments at our plant site in Frankfurt. To ensure safety and functionality, we are currently in the final preparation phase for commissioning, conducting extensive tests at our plant over the course of several weeks. These examinations optimally prepare the first module for operation, ensuring that all parts function seamlessly:
Component Functionality Checks: The functionality of individual components including pumps, valves, sensors, cooling units etc. is tested.
Focus on Safety Shutdowns: To quickly and safely shut down the plant in critical situations, emergency shutdown mechanisms are implemented and tested throughout the system. This ensures a safe operating environment at all times.
Component Coupling - Integrity Tests: The individual parts of the module are connected to each other. Subsequently, signal and integrity tests are conducted to check the functionality of the module as a unit. Compressed air is used to ensure the integrity and tightness of the module.
These tests mark an important milestone on our journey to operating the world's largest e-Fuel plant. Our pioneer plant will recycle up to 8,000 tons of CO2 annually and convert it into sustainable fuels.
We are committed to actively shaping a sustainable future and leading the way into the Next Era of mobility. Join us on our mission and don't miss any updates!
