What are e-fuels?

Synthetic fuel

Synthetic fuel is a combustible or fuel made from carbon and hydrogen molecules that are brought together in a chemical process.

Unlike fossil fuels such as petroleum, synthetic fuel can be produced from renewable sources, making it a more climate-friendly alternative. The definition of synthetic fuel includes a variety of fuels, including synthetic diesel, methanol, kerosene and ethanol.
