Project Finance Manager (m/f/d)
As a Project Finance Manager (m/f/d) you will manage a large number of internal and external interfaces and thus make a decisive contribution to achieving INERATEC's goals by raising debt and equity capital at project/asset level.
Your tasks
- Coordinating and preparing investment proposals for INERATEC facilities, LOIs, MOUs, term sheets and closing documentation for complex and innovative financing structures
- Managing the development and maintenance of a pipeline of potential investors
- Performing and managing the required due diligence, financial modeling, risk analysis and mitigation in structuring loans, equity investments and guarantees where applicable
- Structuring the investment, co-leading all negotiations from initial contact to the signing of a term sheet and the closing and subsequent reporting of the transaction
- Interface management of our bank relationships and other advisors
- Working with internal contacts to ensure bankability of project agreements (offtake agreements, key supply agreements, in particular H2, CO2 and energy as well as EPC and O&M contracts)
Your profile
- B.Sc. or equivalent degree in business administration, economics or a related/quantitative field
- At least five years of professional experience in financing, either on the banking side or in a company, preferably for renewable energies or utilities
- Successful completion of project financings
- Excellent project management skills
- Strong leadership skills with a focus on systems thinking and collaboration
- Ability to communicate complex issues at different hierarchical levels and strong writing skills
- Very good networking skills
- Ability to think outside the box, willingness to develop new and innovative financing structures
- Very good written and spoken German and English, Spanish would be helpful but is not a requirement
- Willingness to travel on business
