Senior Expert Product Design and Process Development (m/f/d)
We will only have a real impact if we scale our technology and plan, develop and standardize it professionally. That is why we are looking for a Senior Expert Product Design and Process Development (m/f/d) with creative ideas and a strategic mindset to join our Chemical Reactors team.
Your tasks
- Responsible for product design and development of new products, including concept development, technical specifications and implementation of design ideas
- Development or selection and qualification of suitable (manufacturing) processes
- Continuous optimization of product designs and the product development process (PEP), to achieve efficiency gains and quality improvements
- Working closely with the team to establish clear guidelines and standards for developing 3D models, creating documentation and making design decisions
- Conduct feasibility studies and risk analysis to ensure products developed meet functionality, quality, cost and schedule requirements
- Work closely with manufacturing and quality management to ensure seamless integration of design and development processes
- Monitoring and evaluating trends in product design and process development
- Train and mentor team members to improve their skills and knowledge in the areas of product design and process development
Your profile
- Completed scientific or technical studies (mechanical engineering, process engineering, industrial engineering or comparable field of study)
- Relevant professional experience in the field of product design and process development
- Understanding of design principles and standards and their application in practice (design for manufacturing)
- Ability to work in a highly structured manner
- Analytical mindset and problem solving skills to review and improve existing standards
- Continuous pursuit of professional development and open-mindedness towards new trends and technologies in the field of product design and development
- Very good written and spoken German and English (B2)
